Sunday on the 5400 block of Buchanan Street.The owner of a 1999 Jeep Cherokee told police a young, shirtless man with curly black hair was breaking into the vehicle, went inside and then was walking around it.After Caicdeo was detained, the caller identified him as the person who was in the Jeep, police said.He had currency and personal property worth more than $300 belonging to one man and a blue Nike backpack worth less than $300 that belonged to another man, police said. The victims were roommates, police said.Caicedo told an officer the backpack was his, and said, “When I get out, I am going to do it again,” the affidavit states.Police said they took from Caicedo an iPod; car charger; key chain; a wallet and driver’s license; remote control and keys, as well as two small game consoles.
